How I got here
I picked up a camera because I wanted to remember things exactly as they felt — not as they were posed. Over all the years and photo sessions since, that's still the whole philosophy: real moments, honest light, and people who forget I'm there because we're having a good time.
I've photographed backyard weddings, living-room newborns, and senior sessions that turned into two-hour laugh fests. What they all have in common: nobody left stressed. My job is to make the photography the easy part of your day.
When I'm not shooting, I'm planning the next trip, chasing golden hour somewhere new, or editing late into the night until every frame feels right.

Sessions should feel like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a really good camera. Nervous in front of the lens? That's my problem, not yours — and I'm good at my job.

I'm a fully mobile studio based in Minnesota — from Duluth to the Twin Cities and everywhere between, I come to you, whether that's your backyard, a downtown rooftop, or the middle of nowhere with cell service you'll describe as 'spotty at best.'
